Commander: Liesa, Shroud of Dusk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is built around Liesa, Shroud of Dusk as a tax-and-drain anchor: every spell costs life, and the deck's many lifegain pieces keep that cost from mattering. The primary plan is to stabilize with early Soul Warden/Soul's Attendant, Kambal, and Ghostly Prison effects, then convert accumulated life into a table kill with Aetherflux Reservoir, Sanguine Bond/Enduring Tenacity/Vito, or a large Exsanguinate. Secondary paths use Serra Ascendant and angel token swarms, while Bolas's Citadel + K'rrik can turn life directly into cards and spells. There is no hidden commander; Liesa is the focus, though most engines function without her.
