Format: Commander

Commander: Karazikar, the Eye Tyrant

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Karazikar, the Eye Tyrant pilots a political goad-and-attrition deck. The primary plan is to tap and goad the biggest opposing attackers, force opponents to fight each other, and draw cards each time they do. The commander is simultaneously a shield and a card-draw engine. Secondary paths are voltron commander damage-especially with Sword of Forge and Frontier and Fiery Emancipation-and a slower grind of recursion, edicts, and token swarms. No double-faced commander occupies the command zone; the deck is built around Karazikar's attack/goad trigger, with Valki, God of Lies as an ancillary early/mid creature. The deck has no infinite combo and normally wins by three sequential commander-damage swings or by grinding out the table with card advantage and mass removal.
