Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue tribal control strategy built around Azami, Lady of Scrolls. The game plan focuses on deploying low-cost Wizards during the early turns to serve as immediate card-draw engines once Azami resolves. Because Azami's activated ability bypasses summoning sickness on other Wizards, the deck quickly transitions from early board development into an overwhelming card advantage engine. With a full grip of cards and untapped mana held open for a deep counterspell suite, the deck controls the stack and neutralizes opposing threats. Victory is achieved through alternate win conditions that capitalize on hand size and card velocity, primarily Triskaidekaphile, Psychosis Crawler, Twenty-Toed Toad, or Laboratory Maniac. While highly resilient against stack-based interaction, the deck remains vulnerable to heavy creature removal, sweepers, and resolved noncreature permanents that slip past its countermagic.
