Dwarven Legion by nerdyworm

Format: Commander

Commander: Bifur, Melodic Rider

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Boros Dwarf tribal deck harnesses the "storied" mechanic, aiming to control three or more artifacts, legendaries, and/or Sagas to unlock an enduring story. The commander, Bifur, Melodic Rider, doubles Dwarf triggers once storied is active, enabling explosive ETB and attack triggers. The deck wins primarily through incremental combat damage, leveraging Dwarf tokens, equipment, and synergistic payoffs like Balin, Loremaster for mass card draw and damage. It lacks fast combo lines, instead grinding out value through repeated Dwarf triggers, treasure generation, and saga-based ramp. Equipment like Goldvein Pick and Sting, Bilbo's Sword boost threat density, while Dain Ironfoot grants double strike to equipped attackers. The strategy is resilient but slow, relying on sustained board presence rather than a single explosive turn.
