Basim by user7400183

Format: Commander

Commander: Basim Ibn Ishaq

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Basim Ibn Ishaq pilots a Dimir artifact-historic engine that turns cheap artifacts, legends, and Sagas into cards and repeated unblockable attacks. The primary plan is voltron: load Basim with Equipment such as Cranial Plating, Nettlecyst, and Quietus Spike, then close with 21 commander damage or 10 poison via Phyresis. Secondary lines revolve around artifact swarms from The Antiquities War and The Cyber-Controller, plus a recurring Time Sieve + Thopter Assembly extra-turn engine. Heavy ramp, cost reducers, and tutors keep the game plan fluid, while Padeem and hexproof effects protect the armored assassin. No true hidden commander is present; Jill, Shiva's Dominant is utility.
