Format: Commander

Commander: Teval, the Balanced Scale

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Teval, the Balanced Scale is a Sultai self-mill/landfall value deck. Teval's attack mills three cards, returns a land from the graveyard to the battlefield tapped, and turns graveyard exits into 2/2 Zombie Druid tokens. The primary win is a four-card loop with Gravecrawler, Kheru Goldkeeper, Phyrexian Altar, and Altar of Dementia, generating infinite mana, Treasures, and Zombie Druids before milling opponents out. Secondary paths are token beatdown with Wonder granting flying, Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord sacrificing huge creatures, and Syr Konrad, the Grim draining via graveyard triggers. Tormod, the Desecrator acts as a hidden commander-style redundancy, while Muldrotha, the Gravetide and land-recursion effects provide strong backup.
