Doran, Besieged by Time leads an Abzan Treefolk tribal deck built around high-toughness creatures and permanent-based scaling. Doran reduces the casting cost of high-toughness creatures and significantly boosts their power and toughness during combat based on the difference between their stats. The deck establishes early mana using land enchantments and cost reducers before deploying formidable Treefolk that dominate the board. The primary win condition is casting Primal Surge, which turns the entire permanent-filled library onto the battlefield alongside Concordant Crossroads for an immediate lethal assault.
