Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Boros Equipment aggro deck commanded by Nahiri, Forged in Fury. The strategy resolves the traditional equipment dilemma—balancing equipment cards against creature counts—by running a heavy suite of self-animating equipment featuring Living Weapon, For Mirrodin!, and Job Select mechanics. These cards enter the battlefield attached to token creatures, immediately supplying equipped attackers while reducing Nahiri's affinity cost. Nahiri enters as early as turn 4, immediately converting attacks into impulse card advantage and cheat-casting high-impact equipment for free. The deck quickly scales into lethal combat steps on turns 5 and 6 using explosive finishers like Kaldra Compleat, Nettlecyst, Embercleave, and Akroma's Will. Efficient defensive spells such as Flawless Maneuver and Boros Charm protect the board from sweepers, ensuring sustained combat pressure across the entire table.
