Deck overview

This Grixis amass build treats Sauron, the Dark Lord as its hand-refueling engine rather than a one-shot combo piece. The primary plan is to cast Sauron on curve, build one large Orc Army with Saruman, the White Hand, Great Goblin, Foul-Hearted, and similar amass triggers, then turn the Ring on Army damage so Sauron can discard and draw four each turn. Secondary paths are Wraith token generation from Lord of the Nazgul and In the Darkness Bind Them, plus burn from Guttersnipe and Fiery Inscription. Scourge of the Throne and repeated Sauron commander damage are the closing mechanisms. No hidden commander exists; Saruman, the White Hand is the most important non-commander engine.
