SMAUG by TyrDrop

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Magnificent

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-red Treasure-swarm midrange deck helmed by Smaug the Magnificent. The plan is to flood the board with Treasure tokens via cheap engines, attack triggers, and Dragon ETBs, then convert that hoard into damage. Smaug the Magnificent is a haste threat that pings any target for the number of Treasures you control on attack while passively making a Treasure each upkeep. Secondary paths include table-wide artifact-ETB burn from Reckless Fireweaver and Ingenious Artillerist, combat with oversized Dragons, and alternate win conditions on Hellkite Tyrant (20 artifacts) and Knuckles the Echidna (30 artifacts). Equipment such as The Reaver Cleaver and multipliers like Xorn and Academy Manufactor accelerate the snowball. The deck wins through combat damage, commander burn, and artifact-count inevitability rather than infinite combos.
