Baron Helmut Zemo by endlesspain1234

Format: Commander

Commander: Baron Helmut Zemo

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Baron Helmut Zemo helms a mono-black self-mill combo-control deck that fuels its graveyard to cheat out massive threats and copy high-mana black spells with his boast. The primary plan is to mill and reanimate heavy hitters like Blightsteel Colossus and Zodiark, while using incidental life loss to power draw engines and Necropotence. The deck accelerates mana with Cabal Coffers, Nykthos, and Crypt Ghast. Its signature line uses Breach the Multiverse to mill foes into Doomsday Excruciator, potentially exiling their libraries. Zemo also enables a mid-combat burst by exiling a stack of black cards and casting three copies for free, usually ending with Gary, Shard of the Nightbringer, or removal.
