Deck overview

This Golgari deck is a compact tutor-and-combo build. Its primary plan is to assemble Witherbloom Apprentice with Chain of Smog, then copy the sorcery repeatedly while Apprentice's magecraft triggers drain the table. The secondary path uses Blood Artist, Warren Soultrader, and Gravecrawler to make infinite treasure and drain through sacrifice loops. Tutors such as Worldly Tutor, Profane Tutor, Dark Petition, Final Parting, and Buried Alive find whichever half is missing; a small reanimation package (Reanimate, Victimize, Dread Return) can also assemble the blood-line. Witherbloom, the Balancer is an expensive flyer with deathtouch that functions as a spare clock and affinity payoff rather than a combo piece; the deck has no hidden commander.
