Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Vampire tribal strategy helmed by Strefan, Maurer Progenitor. The core engine leverages incidental life-loss effects from cards like Creeping Bloodsucker and Voldaren Epicure to generate Blood tokens on each of your end steps. Strefan uses these tokens on attack to bypass mana costs and cheat devastating Vampire threats directly into combat with temporary indestructible. Payoffs like Bloodletter of Aclazotz, Vein Ripper, and Olivia's Attendants apply overwhelming combat pressure while draining the table. Supporting tools like Sorin, Imperious Bloodlord and Olivia, Crimson Bride provide redundancy for cheating threats into play. The deck backs up its offensive engine with efficient black-red spot removal and asymmetric sweepers like Olivia's Wrath. It wins steadily through compounded combat damage and aristocrat-style drain.
