Deck overview

This is a Grixis Bolas-themed superfriends/control deck built around Nicol Bolas, the Ravager/Arisen. The main path is to transform the commander into Arisen for card advantage, discard, and reanimation, then use proliferate effects such as Ichormoon Gauntlet, Deepglow Skate, and Flux Channeler to push planeswalker ultimates. The deck plays a longer control game with board wipes, hand disruption, and value engines like Rhystic Study and Waste Not, then wins via an ultimate ability (Arisen -12, God-Pharaoh -12, Dragon-God -8) or a large Torment of Hailfire. A secondary combat line uses the original Nicol Bolas and Sauron as evasive threats. The deck is heavy on high-mana cards and relies on reaching the mid-to-late game, making early tempo and color fixing important.
