Deck overview

This Atraxa, Praetors' Voice deck is a four-color Superfriends control strategy focused on planeswalker synergy and counter proliferation. The deck spends early turns developing mana and deploying defensive taxing pieces like Blind Obedience and Thalia, Heretic Cathar to slow down aggressive opponents. Once Atraxa enters the battlefield, her end-step proliferate trigger rapidly accelerates the loyalty counters of planeswalkers such as Tamiyo, Field Researcher, Elspeth, Sun's Champion, and Vraska, Betrayal's Sting. This allows the deck to reach powerful ultimate abilities and generate overwhelming card advantage or board presence ahead of regular timing. Sweepers like Merciless Eviction and Phyrexian Scriptures reset opposing boards while leaving planeswalkers intact. The deck finishes games by overwhelming the table with evasive Angel and Soldier tokens, casting free spells from emblems, or accumulating lethal poison counters.
