Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Bant +1/+1 counters midrange build commanded by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian. The game plan centers on deploying efficient mana dorks and low-curve counter enablers on Turns 1 and 2, casting Tidus on Turn 3 or 4, and utilizing Tidus's combat-trigger counter reallocation to guarantee combat damage that triggers Cheer for recurring card draw and proliferation. By Turn 5, the deck transitions into critical onset by deploying game-breaking evasion or stat doublers like Herald of Secret Streams, Ouroboroid, or Branching Evolution. While capable of an infinite mana loop via Incubation Druid and Freed from the Real, its primary win condition is overwhelming combat damage pushed through via unblockable or trample mechanics by Turn 7. The deck compensates for vulnerability to sweepers by running a top-tier phasing and protection suite, including Clever Concealment and Ripples of Potential.
