Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Simic midrange deck commanded by The Astonishing Ant-Man. The primary strategy focuses on converting continuous card draw into +1/+1 counters on the commander, then converting those counters into a massive army of 1/1 Insect creature tokens. Multiplying effects like Doubling Season, Branching Evolution, and Adrix and Nev, Twincasters rapidly compound both counter placement and token generation. The deck refills its hand using combat damage triggers from cards like Toski, Bearer of Secrets and Enduring Curiosity, turning wide attacks into card advantage. It secures victory by overrunning the table with Craterhoof Behemoth, granting unblockable attacks with Herald of Secret Streams, or triggering Simic Ascendancy. The list also includes a two-card infinite draw combo using Fathom Mage and Wizard Class. While vulnerable to repeated board sweepers, the deck leverages robust protection spells and high card velocity to rebuild quickly.
