Deck overview

This deck centers on Captain America, First Avenger, leveraging his Catch ability to cheat steep equip costs on massive weapons like Colossus Hammer, Kaldra Compleat, and Excalibur, Sword of Eden. Once suited up, Captain America applies heavy commander damage in combat while weaponizing his Throw ability to convert high mana value equipment into direct damage for creature removal or finishing off weakened players. The deck supplements this aggressive voltron plan with Sunforger utility, damage multipliers such as Fiery Emancipation, and a compact two-card infinite combo in Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista. Strong defensive instants like Flawless Maneuver and Deflecting Swat keep the commander safe during combat rotations.
