Deck overview

This mono-red spellslinger deck centers on Tomik, Izzet Sparkmage, whose static ability adds 1 extra damage to every noncombat damage source you control. By pairing low-cost burn and impulse draw spells with noncreature pingers like Coruscation Mage, Firebrand Archer, and Guttersnipe, the deck transforms cheap cantrips and rituals into massive multi-target damage bursts. Explosive mana producers like Jeska's Will, Mana Geyser, and Storm-Kiln Artist fuel extended spell chains, while engines like Virtue of Courage exile vast portions of the library to maintain card velocity. High-end finishers include Crackle with Power, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and a compact infinite combo in Dualcaster Mage plus Twinflame. While highly explosive, the strategy depends heavily on creature permanents and lacks reliable enchantment removal.
