Deck overview

This deck is a focused Dimir aristocrats combo engine piloted by Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver. It pairs traditional Zombie tribal synergies and token generation with lethal infinite combo lines. The primary game plan accelerates mana on the first two turns, deploys Wilhelt on Turn 3 or 4, and uses black tutors to assemble infinite sacrifice loops via Gravecrawler and Phyrexian Altar, or the standalone 2-card combo of Acererak the Archlich and Rooftop Storm. The deck maintains immense card flow through death triggers, Skullclamp, and draw engines like Undead Augur. A robust suite of efficient counterspells (Fierce Guardianship, Mana Drain) and removal (Deadly Rollick, Toxic Deluge) protects the combo turn and disrupts faster opponents. Even through heavy removal, deep reanimation packages ensure resilient recovery and rapid reassembly.
