Necrobloom 8/8/2026

Format: Commander

Commander: The Necrobloom

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Abzan lands-matter deck helmed by The Necrobloom marries landfall token generation with graveyard dredge recursion. The primary plan is to ramp aggressively with land-search spells, trigger landfall across multiple payoffs - Avenger of Zendikar, Rampaging Baloths, and the commander's own Plant/Zombie tokens - then recur lands from the graveyard en masse with Splendid Reclamation, World Shaper, and Titania, Protector of Argoth. Ojer Taq, Deepest Foundation triples the token output, while The Gitrog Monster and Life from the Loam convert the dredge engine into card advantage. The deck closes through combat, either a Finale of Devastation X=10+ haste swing or a life-draining Exsanguinate once the land count is enormous. Nethroi, Apex of Death provides a mutate-based reanimation backup. It is a grindy, value-oriented strategy that wins through inevitability rather than speed.
