Deck overview

This deck is a unique exhibition build that features Y'shtola, Night's Blessed as the sole colored card, running a 99 composed entirely of colorless artifacts, lands, and Eldrazi spells. The game plan revolves around equipping Y'shtola or artifact tokens with an extensive arsenal of legendary and combat-focused Equipment. Casting Equipment with mana value 3 or greater triggers Y'shtola's ability to drain each opponent for 2 life and gain 2 life, which easily satisfies her end-step trigger to draw extra cards. While the deck generates impressive card flow and combat pressure once assembled, its strict colorless restriction completely locks it out of Esper's premier instant-speed removal, countermagic, and tutors. As a result, the deck operates as a dedicated Voltron aggro deck that relies on natural draws, artifact wipes like All Is Dust, and equipment-based protection to power through opposing boards.
