One Mana by rjarpin

Format: Commander

Commander: Ashnod, Flesh Mechanist

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

An aggressive mono-black sacrifice/token deck that uses Ashnod's attack trigger to turn recursive 1/1s into Powerstones and value, then turns those deaths into a steadily growing commander. Primary plan is equipment/Background pump on Ashnod (Tarrian's Soulcleaver + Cultist of the Absolute) to win on commander damage; secondary plan drains with Serrated Scorpion and Fear of Lost Teeth while creating 3/3 Zombies through the commander's {5} ability and Quest for the Gravelord. The deck has no hidden commander, but Ecstatic Awakener and Evolved Sleeper act as flexible early attackers/engine pieces. Winning is incremental rather than combo-based.
