Flicker by kbjelly26

Format: Commander

Commander: Abigale, Eloquent First-Year

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Orzhov blink deck uses Abigale, Eloquent First-Year as a low-cost value piece, not a combo engine. Abigale enters for two mana, strips abilities from one creature and gives it flying, first strike and lifelink counters, which synergizes with Odric, Lunarch Marshal and counter-movers. The primary plan is repeatable flicker to grind ETB value and grow the board with Cathars' Crusade. Secondary paths use lifegain and draw payoffs like Exemplar of Light, Haliya, Guided by Light and Ketramose, the New Dawn to out-resource opponents. The hidden commanders are Sun Titan and Cathars' Crusade - Sun Titan recurs the engine and Cathars' Crusade actually closes games through combat or repeated Gray Merchant drains.
