Deck overview

This Jund Commander deck is built around Auntie Ool, Cursewretch, converting -1/-1 counter distribution into massive card advantage and life drain. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with 1-2 CMC ramp to cast Auntie Ool on turn 3 or 4. Once established, it leverages synergistic enablers like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Nest of Scarabs, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician to turn -1/-1 counters on its own creatures into card draw and counters on opposing creatures into direct life drain. Midgame mass distribution effects such as Soul Snuffers, Carnifex Demon, and Kulrath Knight dismantle opposing boards while building a massive token army. Opponents are systematically locked out of combat and drained out, with the infinite pump combo of Devoted Druid and Quillspike serving as a compact alternate win condition.
