Deck overview

This Golgari deck is commanded by Chatterfang, Squirrel General, focusing on token multiplication, sacrifice synergies, and aggressive wide-board overruns. By turning every created token—whether Food, Treasure, Clue, or Creature—into additional 1/1 Squirrels, Chatterfang quickly builds an overwhelming board presence. The deck converts these tokens into versatile resources: drawing cards through Skullclamp and Toski, Bearer of Secrets, eliminating opposing threats with Chatterfang's removal ability, and draining life totals with aristocrats like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Mirkwood Bats. The primary victory path involves overwhelming opponents via massive pump spells like Beastmaster Ascension and Craterhoof Behemoth, backed by an infinite mana and death-trigger loop with Pitiless Plunderer. Dense low-cost ramp ensures fast, consistent deployment by Turn 4.
