Democracy Was a Mistake by user3928080

Format: Commander

Commander: Breena, the Demagogue

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Breena is a single-faced engine commander; the deck is built to marry her attack-trigger draw/pumping with Orzhov politics and pillowfort. The primary plan is to stay alive behind tax effects and goad while growing a small board of evasive flyers with +1/+1 counters. Shadrix Silverquill acts as a hidden second commander, offering the same political counters and token generation. Secondary wins come from commander damage via Breena, Rogue's Passage, and Duelist's Heritage, or from a flood of Inkling/Zombie tokens. There are no infinite combos; combat damage is the only win condition.
