Valgavoth by KidKairos

Format: Commander

Commander: Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls commands a Rakdos group slug strategy that weaponizes standard game actions like tapping lands, drawing cards, and casting spells. The primary game plan is to deploy early passive damage sources like Roiling Vortex and Razorkin Needlehead, then cast Valgavoth to convert opponent life loss on each turn into consistent card draw and counters. As the table takes continuous burn damage, Valgavoth quickly grows into a lethal airborne threat. The deck closes out games through cumulative burn accelerated by damage multipliers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, aggressive flying commander attacks, or a game-ending Torment of Hailfire.
