Deck overview

This Rakdos spellslinger deck revolves around Kuja, Genome Sorcerer, leveraging its ability to generate 0/1 Wizard creature tokens that burn each opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast. Once four Wizards are assembled, Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, doubling all Wizard damage. The deck builds a dense web of redundant burn engines using creatures like Coruscation Mage, Guttersnipe, and Black Waltz No. 3, supercharged by damage amplifiers like Tomik, Izzet Sparkmage and The Rollercrusher Ride. By sequencing cheap removal, draw spells, and burn, the deck efficiently pressures all three opponents simultaneously. Its primary strengths lie in high noncombat reach, resilient distributed pinger redundancy, and an efficient clock once transformed. However, the list relies heavily on creature survival without dedicated protection spells, and its interaction suite is primarily limited to creature and planeswalker removal.
