Deck overview

This deck is a Temur midrange stompy strategy built around Magus Lucea Kane, focusing on casting and copying massive X-cost Tyranid creatures. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost ramp spells on early turns to cast Lucea Kane on Turn 3, then untapping on Turn 4 to duplicate powerful spells. When an X-cost creature is cast with X equal to 5 or greater, both the original card and the token copy enter with Ravenous active, drawing two cards while putting substantial power and toughness onto the battlefield. The deck wins by overwhelming opponents through wide, trampling, or flying combat attacks enhanced by Lords such as Old One Eye, Winged Hive Tyrant, and Clamavus, supplemented by direct damage triggers from Zoanthrope and Exocrine. While the deck exhibits immense battlefield presence and consistent card velocity once its engine is active, its lack of stack interaction and reliance on combat across multiple turns make it vulnerable to timely board wipes.
