Deck overview

This deck is a classic Big-Mana Dragon Tribal build centered on The Ur-Dragon. It leverages the commander's eminence ability to reduce the casting costs of all Dragons from the start of the match. The deck spends its first several turns establishing colored mana through a wide assortment of tri-lands, mana dorks, rocks, and rituals. By Turn 5, it transitions into deploying synergistic setup cards such as Dragon Tempest and Urza's Incubator. Critical onset occurs on Turn 6, where devastating threats like Utvara Hellkite, Terror of the Peaks, or Hellkite Courser hit the battlefield to deal significant immediate combat and direct burn damage. Without an infinite combo, the deck closes the game by overwhelming all three opponents across two response cycles, achieving a complete table knockout on Turn 8. While its airborne beatdown is formidable, the deck contends with tapland friction and vulnerability to well-timed board sweepers.
