Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black attrition and combo strategy commanded by The Master of Lake-town. The commander acts as a Mindcrank in the command zone, turning every instance of damage or life loss into library mill. The primary win condition pairs the commander with Syr Konrad, the Grim or Dreadhound to trigger a cascading loop: whenever an opponent mills a creature card, Konrad deals damage to each opponent, causing further milling until all opponents are eliminated. Secondary win lines use Bloodletter of Aclazotz combined with Fraying Omnipotence or Rush of Dread to double life loss and eliminate players in a single turn. The deck supports these lines with heavy discard and sacrifice effects like Painful Quandary, Pox, and Bandit's Talent to deplete opposing hands. However, its low land count of 27 lands and complete lack of protective spells require careful resource sequencing.
