Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger strategy led by The Emperor of Palamecia // The Lord Master of Hell. The primary plan focuses on casting The Emperor of Palamecia early and triggering its ability by casting high-cost noncreature spells (4 or more mana spent). Once three counters are placed on the commander, it transforms into The Lord Master of Hell, whose Starfall ability deals damage equal to the number of noncreature, nonland cards in the graveyard to every opponent upon attacking. Supporting Opus creatures like Spectacular Skywhale, Colorstorm Stallion, and Molten-Core Maestro scale in power and generate additional tempo whenever big spells resolve. Interaction is backed by low-cost countermagic and burn removal. The deck wins by repeatedly attacking with The Lord Master of Hell and its Opus board, burning the entire table down over several turn cycles.
