Deck overview

This mono-green deck focuses on aggressive Voltron combat led by Wolverine, Claws Out. Wolverine has two potent combat abilities: he bypasses blockers by assigning combat damage directly to defending players, and he doubles his own power whenever he attacks. The deck supports this game plan by accelerating mana on turns 1 and 2, casting Wolverine on turn 3, and equipping heavy stat modifiers like Blackblade Reforged, Belt of Giant Strength, or Colossus Hammer on turn 4. Because Wolverine's attack trigger doubles his current power, even modest power boosts quickly scale into one-shot lethal commander damage. A dense suite of low-cost protection spells such as Heroic Intervention, Tyvar's Stand, and Snakeskin Veil shields Wolverine from targeted removal. While the deck lacks stack interaction and stax pieces, it reliably eliminates opponents one by one across consecutive combat steps through unblockable commander damage and trample overruns.
