Commander: Toxrill, the Corrosive

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck executes an infect and proliferate game plan under a controlling Dimir shell. Early turns focus on landing cheap toxic or infect creatures and casting direct-poison enablers like Prologue to Phyresis and Ichor Rats to give every opponent their initial poison counter. Once opponents are poisoned, the deck shifts entirely to continuous proliferation via spells, activated abilities, and engines like Inexorable Tide, Flux Channeler, and Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus. Toxrill, the Corrosive serves as a late-game stabilizing powerhouse that wipes enemy boards with slime counters and generates massive card draw to sustain poison advancement, closing out the game through ten poison counters.
