...and my breath is DEATH by PoloND2

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Smaug the Impenetrable is the engine: an indestructible 8/7 haste Dragon that turns every point of noncombat damage into a Treasure. The deck's core is a self-damage loop using Pyrohemia or Pestilence plus Smaug's trigger; each activation funds the next Treasure, and repeating it deals 40 damage to each opponent. Blazing Sunsteel, Fiendlash, Pain for All, and Requiem Monolith offer backup damage-to-treasure conversion, while Goldspan Dragon, Xorn, and Academy Manufactor multiply the token output. Secondary paths are Dragon beatdown, artifact-sacrifice drain (Mayhem Devil, Marionette Master, Mirkwood Bats), and alternate wins via Revel in Riches or Hellkite Tyrant. Smaug the Magnificent in the 99 is the hidden payoff, scaling with the Treasure count.
