Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis synergy deck centered on Obeka, Brute Chronologist. The core game plan exploits Obeka's ability to end the turn while delayed negative triggers—such as end-step sacrifices, discards, and game-loss clauses—are on the stack. By exiling these triggers before resolution, temporary effects from cards like Sneak Attack, Feldon of the Third Path, Ideas Unbound, and extra-turn spells become permanent advantages. The deck ramps on curve to deploy Obeka on Turn 4, untaps on Turn 5 to cheat massive threats like Archon of Cruelty or Terror of the Peaks into play, and closes the game through overwhelming combat damage and burn over two attack rotations. A solid suite of low-cost counterspells and equipment safeguards Obeka, while Sundial of the Infinite provides direct redundancy.
