Elda Stax by Ectar

Format: Commander

Commander: Elda, Conjurer of Spectacle

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Selesnya deck uses Elda, Conjurer of Spectacle to turn its first nonlegendary creature each turn into two tokens via demonstrate, then multiplies those tokens with populate. It pairs that engine with a dense tax and stax suite that makes attacking you expensive and noncreature spells costly, while slowly building a wide board of tokens that grows Nesting Dovehawk and triggers life gain. Silverquill Lecturer acts as a hidden commander, giving all creature spells demonstrate for even faster doubling. Secondary lines use group-hug cards like Wedding Ring and Hunted creatures that give opponents resources you exploit better through draw and life triggers.
