Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Aggro and Infect strategy helmed by Ingris Stingerquill. It turns standard combat into a rapid, table-wide poison burn engine. Because Ingris specifies that each attacking creature deals 1 damage to every opponent, attacking with creatures that possess infect deals noncombat damage in the form of poison counters to the entire table at once. The deck pairs cheap infect threats like Plague Stinger, Ichorclaw Myr, and Phyrexian Crusader with token swarms from Song of Totentanz and Ingris's activated ability. Damage enhancers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and City on Fire accelerate the clock, while proliferate spells like Vraska's Fall and Phyresis Outbreak finish off poisoned opponents. The deck reliably presents critical poison pressure on turn 4 and closes out the table around turn 6. Its primary vulnerabilities are vulnerability to board sweepers and limited stack protection.
