Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Abzan toughness-matters deck led by Felothar the Steadfast. It transforms high-toughness defenders and low-power creatures into massive combat threats by allowing defenders to attack and assign combat damage using their toughness instead of power. Felothar also provides a sacrifice outlet that converts excess toughness into raw card advantage. The primary path to victory involves deploying undercosted walls, granting evasion with Sidar Kondo of Jamuraa or Behind the Scenes, and executing lethal team-wide swings boosted by Tower Defense or Bar the Door. Secondary win conditions include direct life drain via Tree of Perdition, Jaws of Defeat, or Blight Pile.
