Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Dimir Aristocrats build commanded by Eloise, Nephalia Sleuth. It blends classic sacrifice lines with investigate token generation and surveil card selection. The game plan focuses on deploying early ramp, recursive creature fodder like Reassembling Skeleton and Ophiomancer, and sacrifice outlets. Once Eloise enters the battlefield, every creature death generates Clue tokens, fueling further card draw and triggering death and token payoffs like Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Apprentice, and Blood Artist. The deck controls opposing creature boards using asymmetric edicts, Toxic Deluge, and Sothera, the Supervoid while accumulating an overwhelming board state. Opponents are drained rapidly through recurring sacrifice loops, Clue cracking, and high-impact finishers such as Marionette Master and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. While the deck lacks fast cEDH tutors and free countermagic, its high density of redundant aristocrat pieces and built-in surveil filtering provide resilient, compounding mid-game execution.
