Deck overview

This deck is a five-colour value-engine build helmed by the custom Nephilim Epochal. The primary plan is to cast the commander to tutor Ink-Treader Nephilim (the deck's "secret commander"), then use it to copy cheap targeted instants and sorceries across the board for explosive card advantage, protection, and token generation. The suite of blink spells (Cloudshift, Ephemerate, Soulherder) re-uses the commander's ETB, while Feather, the Redeemed and Orvar, the All-Form turn those copied spells into repeatable engines. Combat wins come from the nephilim tribe - Dune-Brood Nephilim for land-based tokens, Glint-Eye Nephilim for draw-into-recursion, and the commander's blanket "can't be blocked by monocoloured creatures" clause. A backup lock is established with Dovescape to counter all non-creature spells while churning out Bird tokens, often combined with Maskwood Nexus or changelings to turn the tokens into nephilim.
