Deck overview

This deck is a five-color kindred aggro-midrange strategy led by partner commanders Leonardo, the Balance and Raphael, the Muscle. The game plan revolves around generating tokens, converting token entrances into team-wide +1/+1 counters via Leonardo, and doubling combat damage output with Raphael. A dense suite of Mutant and Ninja creatures creates recurring tokens, including Mutagen, Clue, Food, and creature tokens, ensuring Leonardo triggers reliably each turn. On Turn 5, deploying Raphael doubles the lethal reach of the board, allowing attacks to quickly overwhelm opposing life totals with trample, menace, and lifelink. The deck supports this aggressive engine with seven counterspells to defend key threats, targeted removal for high-priority permanents, and asymmetric sweepers like Damning Verdict. While vulnerable to mass board wipes and color fixing constraints across five colors, the deck sustains momentum through high land counts, redundant counter enablers, and high commander damage amplification.
