Deck overview

This deck leverages Winter, Misanthropic Guide to execute a punishing group slug and forced-discard strategy in Jund colors. The game plan accelerates mana on turns 1 and 2 to deploy Winter on turn 3, followed by static punishers such as Liliana's Caress, Megrim, and Fate Unraveler. By stocking the graveyard with diverse card types, the deck activates Delirium to constrict opponents' maximum hand sizes to two or three cards. As Winter forces each player to draw two extra cards on upkeep, opponents take continuous damage from draw triggers and are forced to discard excess cards at cleanup, triggering massive life loss. While symmetrical card draw provides opponents with extra resources, the severe hand size restriction and heavy noncombat burn rapidly drain life totals, aiming to close out the game around turn 7.
