Susan, who breaks the mana curve by user8814402

Format: Commander

Commander: Susan Foreman and The Twelfth Doctor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Temur big-mana "cascade and cast-from-exile" value engine helmed by the pairing of Susan Foreman and The Twelfth Doctor. Susan Foreman is a one-mana mana dork (her planeswalk clause is mostly flavor here), while The Twelfth Doctor gives the first spell cast from anywhere other than your hand each turn demonstrate - a perfect fit for a deck drowning in cascade and cast-from-exile effects. The plan is simple: ramp aggressively with roughly twenty land-search spells, then drop cascade bombs like Apex Devastator and Maelstrom Wanderer or cast-from-exile engines like Nalfeshnee, Sunbird's Invocation, and Chimil, the Inner Sun to chain free spells into more free spells. Wins come from Etali, Primal Conqueror's poison clock, Portal to Phyrexia's sacrifice-and-reanimate loop, Avenger of Zendikar's token army, and hasted giant beatdown. It is a solitaire-style value deck with almost no stack interaction.
