Thranduil, the Elvenking by NovaRaum

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Sultai Elfball deck builds a wide board of mana Elves and uses them to generate infinite mana with Umbral Mantle or Staff of Domination. Thranduil, the Elvenking acts as a value engine, copying activated abilities of Elves in your graveyard and drawing cards when legendary Elves enter, but the win does not require him. Primary wins come from infinite mana into Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord drain, Lathril drain, or Staff draw and combat overrun. Prime Speaker Vannifar and heavy tutors find the pieces, while Living Death and Patriarch's Bidding provide mass recursion. The deck grinds through card advantage and can pivot to combat if combo is disrupted.
