Deck overview

This deck is an Esper artifact midrange strategy helmed by Urza, Chief Artificer. The primary game plan revolves around casting low-cost artifact creatures and mana rocks during the early turns to accelerate Urza onto the battlefield via affinity for artifact creatures. Once deployed, Urza creates a scaling Construct token at every end step and gives all artifact creatures menace, turning an ordinary board into a formidable, evasive combat force. Supplementary token generators like Sai, Master Thopterist and Alela, Artful Provocateur widen the board, while anthems such as Master of Etherium and Tempered Steel accelerate the clock. Card draw engines like Losheel, Clockwork Scholar and Shimmer Dragon sustain hand size, and cards like Bronze Guardian and Padeem, Consul of Innovation protect your key permanents. While the deck lacks stack interaction and fast combo finishes, its compounding token production and high redundancy make it a resilient combat powerhouse.
