Deck overview

This deck is a competitive 5-color stax and toolbox combo deck piloted by Sisay, Weatherlight Captain. The primary game plan focuses on establishing early asymmetric stax pieces on Turns 1 and 2 to halt opposing fast combo strategies, artifact mana, and graveyard lines. Once the table is slowed down, the deck deploys multi-mana engines like Bloom Tender or Faeburrow Elder to activate Sisay's ability on Turn 4. Sisay tutors protection pieces such as Teferi, Time Raveler or Grand Abolisher, followed by combo engines Derevi, Empyrial Tactician and Emiel the Blessed. Blinking Derevi untaps the mana producer to generate infinite mana and untaps, allowing Sisay to tutor every legendary permanent from the library and kill the table on the spot with repeated Mount Doom activations. Backed by free countermagic and premier tutors, the deck controls the game pace before closing instantly.
