Deck overview

Eshki, Temur's Roar leads a proactive Temur stompy deck that converts high-power creature casts into massive card draw and table-wide burn. The deck leverages mechanics like Warp, Evoke, and aggressive cost reduction to deploy creatures with power 4 and 6 or greater well ahead of curve. Cards like Bristlebane Battler, Dreamtide Whale, and Slumbering Trudge trigger Eshki's full ability suite for as little as one to three mana, pumping the commander while drawing cards and dealing direct damage to all opponents. Redundant draw engines such as Garruk's Uprising and Temur Ascendancy ensure continuous card flow, while cost reducers like Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma and Animar, Soul of Elements accelerate deployment. Direct damage from Eshki pairs with Chandra's Incinerator to clear opposing boards, while trample enablers push overwhelming combat damage across the table. Supported by efficient countermagic and protection spells, the deck reliably closes games through combined burn and combat by Turn 7.
