Commander: Captain America, Team Leader

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a Hero-tribal aggressive/value strategy led by Captain America, Team Leader. The commander's triggered ability grants haste and vigilance to every new Hero and places a +1/+1 counter on both itself and that Hero, creating a rapidly escalating board of bio-troops. The game plan is to deploy a steady stream of Heroes, utilising their built-in card-advantage triggers (Kindred Discovery, Jarvis, Earth's Mightiest Butler, Avengers Assemble!) to refuel, and to push overwhelming combat damage through repeated attack phases. A suite of board wipes and spot removal manages early threats, while equipment like Captain America's Shield and incremental pumps from Metallic Mimic keep the army statically relevant. Secondary wins come from large single-striking threats (Professor Hulk, Captain Marvel, Apex Avenger) and go-wide token makers (Champions from Beyond, Falcon and Redwing).
